This app may be the most effective and entertaining way to master the crucial art of gender identification; it does so by teaching the 'patterns' to look for, allowing you to practice them and even quizzing you on them; it does all this while subtly marking your progress and correctly your mistakes in a way that will help you remember (it even pronounces the word in a male or female voice).

Perfect for studying french noun genders (5 Stars): The whole app is amazing. You can now look up any word's gender, and you can practice and quiz yourself. With the app it is easy to learn what every word's gender will be. The UI is good. It does not need an internet connection, which is good (for an iPod Touch user). The developer responded to advice and feedback extremely quickly: all my feature requests are now implemented in this version of the app. If you are learning french, at any level, buy it now!!!!!
